iRacing, the world’s leading sim racing platform, has officially announced the addition of two iconic Australian circuits and Gen3 Supercars to its lineup. The Adelaide Street Circuit and The Bend Motorsport Park will soon be available on the platform, offering users the chance to race on these renowned tracks.

The new Gen3 Supercars, introduced in 2023, will also be added to iRacing, further expanding its offerings for fans of Australian motorsport. While the release date for this new content hasn’t been confirmed, it’s anticipated that the Gen3 Supercars will be part of a future build, potentially launching early next year.

Greg Hill, iRacing’s executive producer, shared in a development update that the team is currently scanning The Bend and plans to visit Adelaide in November to finalize the digital versions of the tracks. The Gen3 Supercars narrowly missed inclusion in the upcoming “season four” build, but Hill assures that they are working diligently to integrate the data provided by their Australian partners.

Australian circuits have long been a staple of iRacing, with tracks like Mount Panorama, Phillip Island, and Sandown already available. The platform has also featured various Supercars models over the years, starting with the Car of the Future-spec Ford FG Falcon and Holden VF Commodore, and more recently, the Gen2-spec Ford Mustang and Holden ZB Commodore. The addition of the Gen3 Supercars and new circuits marks the latest evolution of iRacing’s Australian motorsport offerings.

Fans will finally be given the opportunity to steer a Gen3 Supercar of their choice when it arrives on the iRacing platform next month.

It was revealed back in August that the Gen3 Supercars were coming to the platform along with the Bend Motorsport Park as well as the Adelaide Parklands Circuit.

While there’s been no recent information regarding the circuits, the Gen3 cars will be available as part of the 2025 Season 1 build. This will be the fourth iteration of the Supercar on iRacing with the platform already having the 2009 FG Falcon, COTF Commodore and Falcon as well as the Gen2 models available to use.

Fans who have recently purchased the Gen2 Supercars in the last 365 days will be given a credit which can be used towards purchasing the new Gen3 spec cars. The Gen2 cars will be classified as legacy cars and will no longer be eligible to use in official racing series, with the Gen3 taking it’s place.
