18 year old, Bradi Owen will step up to Dunlop Super 2 Series in a Triple-Eight built ZB Commodore with Eggleston Motorsport in 2025.

Currently, Eggleston Motorsport has both Kai Allen and Cooper Murray in their cars, however are both set to step up into the main game next season, leaving a couple of vacancies, which young Bradi Owen will fill.

So far the young Gold Coast driver has had a successful year in the new Toyota GR86 Series, scoring three race wins and has appeared on the podium seven out of the nine last races so far. He currently sits second in the championship.

Prior to this years 86 racing, Owen previously competed in karts, then progressed to Hyundai Excels and then made his debut in the Toyota 86 Series in 2022 with the old spec cars.

The announcement of the young Toyota racer’s promotion comes only 24 hours after the announcement that Toyota would join the Supercars Championship as a manufacture in 2026.

“We have been watching Bradi closely in the GR Cup and his consistency is what has really impressed us. To be on the podium in seven from nine races so far this season is what you need to do to win championships. You must ensure you finish races and bank those points.” Said Eggleston Motorsport’s Rachael Eggleston.

Eggleston Motorsport has had an incredible history with helping drivers move up in their careers with the likes of current Supercars points leader, Will Brown and now both Kai Allen and Cooper Murray.

Throughout their time in the category, they’ve also been the ones to beat with claiming the championship with Paul Dumbrell in 2014 and 2023 with Kai Allen, who is lining up to make history by being the first driver in Super 2 to win back to back.
